On July 10, we celebrated the birthday of the great Nikola Tesla in a way that we believe he would have approved of – by learning and creating. We were visited by a total of 220 guests, including 135 children who participated in creative workshops.

Announcement – Matka wins Museum of the Year Award
Skopje, 18.05.2018 – The Matka Exhibition Center has won the Museum of the Year Award presented by ICOM (International Council of Museums) – Macedonia. The award was presented on the occasion of May 18 – International Museum Day for outstanding achievements in museum activity in 2017.
Corporate Social Responsibility Award
The Electricity Exhibition Center – Matka won the National Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices of Macedonian Enterprises in 2017, presented by the National Coordination Body on Corporate Social Responsibility and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia.
The center’s opening
On May 10, 2017, in the presence of representatives of Macedonian educational institutions, the doors for the general public were officially opened by Mr. Stefan Peter, President of the Management Board of EVN Macedonia.
About the center
The Matka Exhibition Center is the only educational center in Macedonia that covers energy-related topics. In it, visitors can learn more about energy, its history, production, transmission, and use through modern interactive methods.
